Ian Carsten Memorial Scholarship

The Ian Carsten Memorial Scholarship fund honors Ian Carsten, a young swimmer who lost his life during COVID.  His family established the scholarship in honor of their son who was an outstanding swimmer, notably in the 200 butterfly.  The fund provides a one time college scholarship to the fastest female and male 200 butterflyer who are graduating high school and attending college.

Coach Don Watkinds Swim Award

Coach Don was a true believer that swimming should be a sport that serves all individuals.  Don coached for many years in San Diego, coaching all levels of swimmers including para-swimming athletes.  To ensure his legacy and values continue, the community set up this scholarship fund.  Each year the fund provides scholarships to swimmers who come from underrepresented groups.
